What is the size of aftermarket parts (interior/exterior trim, powertrain, chassis) for rotaries? I understand it will be a little while before there will be much for the all-new RX-8.

I have a 2000 VW Jetta and have enjoyed working on the car myself and would hope to be able to do the same with an RX-8.

Actually, there is already a solid aftermarket for the RX7 cars. It's not a huge aftermarket, like you see for Hondas, but it's big enough that you can basically find what you need.

The thing is, the Renesis will be different, so it will be awhile before some Renesis specific items are available. But, you could expect the existing, established rotary aftermarket companies to be a part of the Renesis aftermarket.
