The last group buy fizzed out so some members have asked for me to try it again...

Up for Group Buy is a set of four (4) CNC'd aluminum rotary shaped tire valve stem caps made by Rotarystuff.com. These caps are polished to a mirror finish with the RX-7 or RX-8 logo machined on the surface. You have a choice of the RX-7 or RX-8 caps (specify).

I will need TEN (10) members to sign up to start the group buy.

Price: $20.00 shipped (continental US). Will ship international for an additional fee.

Mazda OEM retail price for these is $39.00!

These caps are of high quality and will make any car stand out!

Payment via PayPal (preferred).

Deadline: August 5, 2006.

I was able to "twist" the vendor's arm and get him to make PLAIN CAPS." They will just be the rotary shape without the lettering on the top. Anybody interested? :boink:

Oh, by the way - this might be an unnecessary thing to worry about, but is there any way these could have an effect on the balancing of the wheel? Seeing that they are probably heavier than the stock caps.
I wouldn't want to get my wheels rebalanced because of these. Or is that not a concern?

Hmm can you put up a picture of the plains? Want the 8 logos unless these plains look better

Yes -- you should put some anti-seize on the threads when you put these on. I had THREE freeze up, two came off and one snapped the valve stem. Aluminum to aluminum is NOT a good idea unless you use some anti-seize compound to keep it moving...

It's a substance you put on the treads to keep the caps from fusing to the stems. It also protects the aluminum from oxidation.
