I am supposed to be getting my Varis spoiler back from my repaint tommorrow in which i promised pictures to show my newly refinnished AMEs ....... but i've been saying that for a couple days now since the shop is been :bootyshak with me.....

the ings look good on black, but I hate to say it though I think you were better off with the silver finish.

Man I don't know how you go through front bumpers so quick, i mean usually they at least take like 3 months to ship and get painted. Must have a nice plug.

The diamond cut finnish was very nice dont get me wrong... but 1) I was getting bored with it 2) I wanted a more distinct look :)

that would look hot if it was gold......blue seems tacky to me...reminds of of that white rx8 with blue and purple wheels.

Now all you need is a little more blue to tie the whole car together. Changing the parking lights and getting blue bulbs on clear corners might do the trick. Also making the interior lighting color change mod would look awsome.

I would probably not do it.... but rewrapping the interior with blue suede would be so hot......all the current tan colored parts in the interior :Eyecrazy:

maybe blue lugs or center cap. blue overlay over sidemarker light.

plenty of things to do, i just gotta think some more. haha

you could do what im gonna do....put a very slight tint of blue on your headlights! and take off the eye lids...dont like :(

i've been thinking about either a slight tint or a faint blue smoke on the headlights for the longest time now.... but i dont really want to get too much attention from the popo so i think i'll have to scratch that idea... although it would look off the chain.....

After all the changes i've went thru the car is slowly coming into its own now... little piece by piece it is going to evolve into my very own unique rx-8.. the custom gemini cf hood....the custom finnished AMEs.... the varis cf kevlar spoiler....only black on this forum to have INGS kit?...... i feel each part makes my ride unique and different... im totally enjoying this modding process :Peace:

anyway, i'm amazed that we don't see annodized lips on 8's since I love em on S2K's... definately looks sick.

i like the blue. it stands out in a good way. just keep goin with the blue and it will look even better.

I liked the black and silver lip with the matching set bolts going around the inside of the lip so you could anodize those blue to match ;)

A set of strakes anodized blue would look beautiful too.

Its VERY different, but I like it a lot. Love the kit, and the rims are definitely unique. Glad we got you to go with the Black on Black look. Welcome to the INGS club. Seems like quite a few people are getting it now.

Its actually candy blue paint tinted into my clearcoat over my polished lip to produce that finnish. So its not technically "anodized" but it provides the same metallic looking gloss. Plus when the black spokes reflect off the lip it makes hte lip produce a purplish hue.......its uber cool :wiggle:

I like the distinct look, fits a 22 year old with an 8. contrary to what most here have said, i wouldnt add too much blue, especially not pin stripes or strakes (though it looks like you wont be putting those on anyway). I like the clean look with the *KABAM* wheels.

I like it, its diffrent. Its a JDM drift style look....
I am glad you didn't go with Gold wheels....Gold wheels are starting to be played out. I watched a few people get laughed at yetserday in front of my grocery store because they had gold wheels on there white G35. :icon_no2:

Leave the gold wheels to the Sti crowd, they look good on Suby's, everything else they look just ok.

These are two things that i am definately planning to do if i have the opportunity.... dont worry no pinstripes no strakes.... as you can see from my ride that style is not my thing :anger:

1. Anyone know where i can get some nice titanium tips? I dont really feel like spending the next paycheque on a Ti exhaust.... too $$ :scared:

2. A mini roof spoiler definately looks hot..... as far as i know RE Amemiya and Sansai are the only two companies that make that for the 8........ I have inquired with EVO-R some time ago about the possibility of producing replicas of them but there wasnt enough interest to get the ball rolling.......

I think they'd look great on a WB, but only if they matched perfectly. Otherwise, they'd contrast. But, you don't have that problem with black since it goes with everything.

BIU have you thought of doing the calipers? Maybe a darker blue.

The black seems to make the wheels on Kit look hella small like 14's :cwm27: .

Blue calipers would be subtle enough. Why didn't I think of that? I painted my rear rust bucket rotors and calipers last week :dunno:

I'm with this guy. Initially it looked good and stood out, but I took another look and to me it looks like you still have that blue protective plastic stuff on your wheels. Tying it together with a coupla blue accents would def make me do a double take, like blue calipers or blue along the bottom edge sort of like how MS kits have the grey. I dunno, it still looks good if you can get past that protective plastic look.
