I'm back again, bronzed and refreshed but "golfed Out"

Time to get RX8'd Out! Tried to catch up but far too much stuff on here since the 8th Aug.

So I see it as follows:

Some of you have driven the 8, well done! You all seem to be impressed with the car.

Accessories still undecided.

Mazda in a mess about delivery dates. CAN ANY ONE GIVE ME THE LATEST TO SAVE ME TRAWLING THROUGH??

With EP365 Do I have a chance to be in the Golden 500?? Or have we now found out that EP Nos mean nothing!

Looking forward to my car still, just would like to know when.

Welcome back :)

You seem to have got most of it, but in summary:

Cars are doing the rounds at dealers now, so you may be able to get a drive. Mines next weekend :D (With another dealer as mine hasnt a clue what is going on)

Some have already driven it, and all seem happy which is good.

The US car has been officially rated as 238bhp, and US customers offered a full refund, or $500 and free servicing.

Some concern as to whether the above will affect us or not.

The car had a good TV review on Pulling Power this week. You can download it from me or a number of others to watch.

No news from Mazda yet re delivieries or what customer cars may or may not be on the boat. I am awaiting a reply to an email hopefully early next week.

and I think rael decided to cancel and re-order without moonroof, so you are one higher up on the list.

No news on accessories

My dealer called yesterday and it looks like I'll get to drive a Hi-Power car last week of September. Only one month to go then!

He was also not aware of all the US power problems.

I'd have thought the Dealers would have been advised.
