RB spring owners, need honest opinion

Do you like your RB springs? Pro's, cons, etc.....Happy with the drop(.5"is it noticable if you have aftermarket 19" rims etc), ride quality etc?

Did a search but not much came up....thanks.

I like mine! The hard core autocrossers will tell you that they aren't the best (which they probably aren't). I think my rear dropped a little more than the front, but I am probably the only one that notices. I also have the sway bars/ end links and it handles a lot better than stock. The ride seems a little stiffer, but I didn't buy a Cadillac.

Like them for the most part, however.....

If you are carrying a load in the trunk, or have someone in the back seat, the stock shocks bottom out quite easily. As directed in the instructions, I cut back the shock bumpers, so I'm surprised to have this issue.

Other than that, they are a great addition.

0.5" drop isn't really noticeable. i've seen it, and I only can tell it's lowered when next to a stock 8.

actually, you do realize that the stock 8 has more wheel well gap in the front right? so your essential still going to see more fender gap on front with rb springs since the drop is 0.5" all around. maybe that's what you're noticing.

I have them, and they are great if it is mainly street driving/occasional track day. They are essentially a very good street setup with the RB Sway Bars, and endlinks. Also, you only give up a little bit of ride quality. For the track you can get more aggresive setups (at the cost of more $ & worse ride quality).

They're excellent. But I would recomend changing the rear shocks at the same time.

I have them as well, and honestly Im tired of them. I wanna get rid of them so i can take out most of my gap. Right now I'm just saving up for some coilovers. You won't notice my car is lowered but if I park next to a stock Rx-8 you will see a slight difference in the rear. I'll try to post the pics when I find them.

Could be. You never scrutinize other peoples car like you do your own so I can honestly say that I never payed much attention or noticed this on a stock 8. I guess subs & amps don't help matters much.
