I'm finally an RX-8 owner!!!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my joy with others who could appreciate it!

I've been wanting to get an RX-8 since the day in 2003 that we bought our Protege 5 and they had all the new brochures in the dealership. I told my wife one day I will own one of these. Well the marriage didn't last but the RX passion did.

I picked it up yesterday, new to me... 2004 Winning Blue manual with only 23400 miles on it. It's beautiful!

Congratulations. I got mine -- also a 2004 Winning Blue with similar miles -- about 2 weeks ago. It's been fantastic so far.

Possibly the biggest and longest lasting reason to join this forum. Warning - don't try to talk about your RX-8 all the time to your "other" non-owner friends, family and co-workers. They won't understand.

You know, I have dis same car. I bought my 2004 WB brand new, but it's got about 13,000 miles so far. If fact, I can see it through the window glistening in the accumulated rain right now. Beautiful car is right.

So, how long did you read on the board as a guest before you bought and joined? Did the forum help you find the right options, price or peace of mind before your purchase?
