I was looking at some shots of our engine and i was wondering ..............How long are our apex seals gonna last us?

They keep the chambers air tight and they seem to come into contact with the walls of the big cylinder alot. Im not sure of what they are made of but do any of you guys know about how long they last? (They seem friction prone)

Thanks for all the help guys its my first rotary!

This is addressed in all the reliability threads...

N/A rotaries are well known at being good for over 100, even 200k miles, nothing to worry about...

...also, see the sticky at the top of this section referring to the technical aspects from a facotry manual. there is some information on apex seals there (specifically, how they work). :)
