Any of you guys going to the HPDE at Pocono on July 14-16 or August 19/20?

It looks like I am going with my dad. We are taking separate cars so we can both enjoy the instructor experience. I'm not sure whether I am definitely going or not. It would be cool if some 8 owners would come out to the events. Meet some people, and hone the full potential of our vehicles.

PDA (http://www.pdadrivingschool.com/) / NASA NE have merged FYI. I will be at Pocono with them 8/18 - 8/20. That is a popular event so expect a bunch of cars. My first ever track day was a August PDA event at Pocono, here is a thread about that http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=36124

I was jsut there for the SCCA PDX on the full course. Also went with my dad, it was his first, and he loved it (even though he burned up his front brakes of his C4 vette).

Its a nice track and great facility. Very safe, not a lot of stuff to hit so one feels little anxiety about really pushing the car.

Other 8s or not, I would highly reccomend it.

Can't make that one though. I can only afford a couple track days a year and I want to get to summit point and possibly NHIS as well this year.
