i just bought the latest rx8 magazine which has some aftermarket nav..
but i cant read japanese and i have no idea what din1 and din2 is....
can any member here help me out?
by the way, if any member know where i can buy this please let me know!
i am waiting for a adaptor like this so i can add a pioneer N3

All they did was take the existing NAV, remove the screen and add the new Alpine "Pulse Touch" in its place. It is the same setup I have in my car and it is bad ass :ylsuper:
You should really look at the Alpine line instead of Pioneer. Alpine's new line is lightyears ahead of Pioneer. Check out the specks and you will see.

actually, my car didnt come with the OEM NAV, but i think this adaptor can still replace the "thing" on the top.
as it shows it is about 441usd + tax..but for the rest, i am definitely no idea what it is talking about...

k guys i think the carputer is definitely alot better but if you dont want something so complicated this is better. I did a little more research on this japan addon and i found that the unit is actually 385.56 and its a single din mount. If I am reading the translation correctly, it will not work with the Bose system. Bummer...
