whats the lowest offset we can fit , can we pull off 18x8.5 33 offset in the front and a 18x9.5 35 offset in the rear?

Lower offset just means they'll "stick out" more. The rears aren't the problem.

OEM wheels are offset 50mm. A 33mm offset in the front wheel will move the outer edge of the wheel 17mm outward - plus an extra 1/4 inch for the wider wheel (8 to 8.5 means 1/4 inch wider on each side)

As a result the outer edge of the front wheel will be just shy of 1 inch (.92 inches) further to the outside than stock.

I would personally try to stay as close to 50 as I could going only as low as 45 just to be safe - but that's just me. I KNOW 18x9.5 with a 45 offset will fit all four corners perfectly.

will a 18x9.5 with the offset of 22 fit at all? it seems kinda weird to me though. i dont know the answer and about to buy rims. need help quick thank you!!

22 would stick out too much. Then again anything will fit with fender work and very aggressive camber. But you would go through tires like I go through shoes.

9.5 you want to do something like +40,42,45

i got 25 in the rears..on 9.5

you can go lower even..depending on the camber, tire profile and fender rollage..
id highly recommend it.. if you like an aggressive look

you can go lower even..depending on the camber, tire profile and fender rollage..

so you got your fenders rolled. what are the specs on your rims and tires.

whats the widest you can go without getting your fenders rolled with 40 offset tires on 18's?

i got 19X8.5 with 35mm offset and wrapped around with 19/245/35 for all 4... no need to roll the fender or anything.. looks beeefy!

i have heard that with Tein-S springs.. they are perfect!

I am running 18x8 in +35mm offset. Some alignment settings needed to be changed, but I love the wider track they provide. No problems to speak of.

fit my ings offset TE37 few days back.

Back is ok. but the front is not that good.

Rubs if the car is too low..

Would a 18x8 40mm fit the front okay, I'm pretty sure it will. And on back a 18x9.5 35mm, that's what I'm not sure about. I want to know if that setup would require any mods? It's for my girlfriends car, so no race or track. Thanks for all of the help.

Tanaka826

i think you might have to mod it a little bit..but its not that hard if you know how to roll your fenders.

EDIT: Ah crap, i just realized I posted in an old thread as well... well, if there's an answer to my question, it'll be greatly appreciated :D:

C'mon guys. You're talking about the offset without the regard of a wheel width. You can't have any offset you want. With 9 inch wheels you should have 37mm offset to stay with the original car geometry. If you play with the offset and go with 30 there will be not enough tire going into the wheel well and that shall negatively affect car's handling. For 9.5 offset should be 30mm - now the only limitation here is the fender.
