ok, so im checking my oil today, and its half way between Low and Full, thats 1.8 qts, so i add just about 9/10 of a quart, and now the oil level just about at the top of the indentation for checking your oil level

it says adding above F may cause damage sooo...did i just screw up my car?

oh, and btw, its exactly where the engine level was when i had picked it up and i havent had any problems, but i figured id better check with the pros, just in case

Someone correct me but if the dipstick is showing LOW then it takes ONE quart to bring it up to full, NOT 1.8quarts? :confused:

it says 1.8 in the manual...
