I wanted to know if there was any hard evidence that an RX7 will be comming in the near future. Just curious.

No hard evidence, but good sources indicated we should pay close attention to the Tokyo auto show in October. Look specifically for a rotary powered concept on a shortened RX-8 platform. Also expect a larger 1.5L Renesis.

One of this month's mags, I think Automobile, has a write-up in the the first few pages of the upcoming RX-7....forgot what it said, need to read it again when I go home....maybe someone else can post a scan of the article....it was under some Future's section or something.

No hard evidence, just magazines speculating (I think).
Check Road & Track (yeah, excellent mag, right?...emmm)

Tokyo Motor Show *should* reveal a concept of the next RX-7.

It won't be for a while that it comes out, and that's dependant on sales of the RX-8.

I heard from Boowana that if all goes well, he'll make the trip to Japan and will team up again with Sputnik to bring the latest info and pics of the RX-7 concept debut at the Tokyo Motor Show.

All we have right now is reliable information that one is in the design stages, which is about all that we can reasonably expect at this time.
