Hi all,

I would've used the search engine, but if you've tried it lately... it kinda sux.

Any word on if/when Madza might introduce the yellow/black leather option for the US market? Any chance an aftermarket company might make them available?

If that were an option either way, i'd give up the green and GO YELLOW

Peace

It has been done by the aftermarket in Japan, but I can't find the pick right now. As for Mazda, I don't think it is very likely that it will be done.

You don't have to wait on Mazda or the aftermarket. Any decent upholstry shop should be able to do that, in any color. So, if you want, you could get a Winning blue, and put blue leather pieces in, or silver/light gray accents in a titanium grey or silver, or put yellow accents in a green or black car, or any color combination that you'd like that wouldn't normally be available in the aftermarket.

The steering wheel would be the hardest/most difficult part of it.

For the steering wheel, you could just get one of those wheel covers and match the color. My cousin has one thats blue and black that would go great in my 8 (when it arrives).

My dealer told me that they have a local upholstery shop that is "endorsed" by Mazda that will be doing custom blue 2-tone leather for those desiring. So, maybe if you ask around your local dealerships...

Well, remember that a significant draw of this car is the way it feels. Most of those aftermarket wheel covers significantly change the way the wheel feels in your hands.
