I already posted this in the Aftermarket forum, but not that many people go in there...I also did a search and noting accurate! I was just wondering if the AT 04,05,06 come with a CAI like the MT's do? otherwise i'll buy an aftermarket intake to get more fresh cooler air... all help is appreciated...

No they dont have a official CAI but if you remove your front bumper you will see what looks like a CAI from the Factory. Want cooler air diff go with CAI just dont void your warrenty ;)

thanks dominion...i'll most likely go with Revi or AEM, but leaning more towards AEM, because its basically the MS CAI and highly doubt that the AEM will void my warranty... thanks

Yeah I'm getting the AEM too probably, and AEM actually was the third party to help design the MS Cold Air Intake, so your warranty shouldn't get voided unless you hydrolock, but thats hard to do.... Racingbeat REVi is good too, it has a stock box, also shows gains so another good choice.....to be honest AEM and RacingBeat were the only ones to actually show some gain, not much, but its still positive..... just to help you out, no aftermarket intake will void your warranty unless you hydrolock and that mean your filter has to be completely submerged under water, and if you change the tubes and stuff, like by-pass valves etc...

Well now hold on there bub. I say void & warranty due to the fact that my friend has his 8 at the same Mazda dealer that I do but for a differnt reason. He put a intake on his 8 that caused one of his Rotors to miss compress. So the Tec said. Now they are going to replace his Motor. However keep in mind he had to fight tooth and nail to get them to do this. Just a warning or FYI guys.
