Yes wide screen would be a problem for most of the wallpapers out there. I have a 19in LCD and use the res of 1280x1024 which is a 1.25 ratio compared to the 1.33 ratio of the other resolutions so I have to chop a little from the sides of the wallpapers using Paintshop Pro or else they will apear a little streched.
