Just booked my ride yesterday.
My PI is actually wanting to know if i can provide the color code for the True Red version which i requested.
Anyone knows where to find it or what it is?
According to him, Galaxy Grey is "32S" and Velocity Red is 27D, is that right?

Open your bonnet and on the top left hand corner, u will be able to find the color code for your car.

But I havent got my car yet , so unable to tell the colour code.

Just hope that someone will be able let me know the colour code of "True Red"

 

I can find it out for u (too lazy to go downstairs and open the bonnet, its 2.20am now) , but I think u better wait for your car. cos someone did tell me it may be red for same model of cars, but may be of a slightly different tones.

So if I give u the code for my car , it may be different from yours when it arrive.

 

If yours is the Velo Red, the code may be different from the True Red which i have placed. The PI of mine neber ordered T. Red before so ask me for the code while the order is enroute.

If worse comes to worst, i will get the normal V.Red.

Wah, i think end up i can't get True Red
Cos the difference in price between the normal RX-8 and the True Red one is about 500,000yen difference. Totally up more than $5k after all the misc stuff added to it. Sigh...

u pay the money... get the SF to pen down the agreement:
true red is true red... v.red is v.red...
5K more to get the true red... worth?

I think, should save the money cos $5K u can get alot of other things to beautify your car.

But I also believe that a True Red color car will definitely stand out .. and furthur more its Japan factory spray paint , the workmanship should be better than having the cars respray in Singapore

 

True, $5k can be used to add-on the "missing" fog-light which doesn't come default with my order.

Do any of your 8s come with original fog-lights? or is it on special indent?
Think it normally applies to those from PI instead of MM.

They quote me $600 to add the lights. Is it a good deal or is there better ones?

 

there always diff between MM and PI.
if not, market won't move...
