I was sitting in my car at work yesterday, putting my sun shade on the wind shield.

This girl walks up and says " I see this car everyday, it's awesome" I'm like "Thanks........ wait don't I know you?"

Turns out she was my roomates girl back in University..... small world.

Also yesterday a city bus stopped beside me instead of at the light and opened his door to get a better look LOL.

I was sitting at work and was viewing posts on rx8forum.com when I see a car pull up in the parking empty parking lot at around 12:30am. Two guys come out of there car and I was thinking the worst. I went outside for a smoke and started chatting with them. They heard I had the Rx8 here, and they wanted to take a look at it. They started asking me the common questions about HP, torque and aero dynamics of the car. At first I was conerned about what these people were doing here at this hour, but then I started to relax because there fans of the Rx8 and just wanted to take a closer look at it.


This is attention, but not exactely what I'm looking for. I don't feel good leaving the car outside from 10pm to 10am as it is.

Good thing i'm installing the bomerang security system in the car next week.

I don't blame you folks one bit. The rx8 is a gorgeous car and most rx8 guys/gals get 2 thumbs up everytime from this Supra owner on the road. Have fun guys.

i took the RX-8 to work today.. and every1 at work was impressed.. every1 is like wait ur 22 and own this..

good reactions.. great feeling.. but i do get worried i want this car to get a lil more popular and more people to have em..

I just got stopped at the grocery store twice- the first time by a guy in a newer accord, about my age, wanting to know how it drove, and what it was like. The second was an 18-19 yr old guy who works at a body shop, and hadn't seen one in person yet. I love this car, but the attention is a little unnerving!

My wife will not even take the RX-8 to the grocery store anymore. The last two times she has taken it, she comes out and the car is getting more attention then she is. Some young punks even want her to take pictures of them near the car.

I had have lexus drivers give the the thumbs up in the car.

This attention will only be around for another few weeks. Once the next batch of RX-8's come in, alot of people will have them.

So, take advantage of the attention.
