In Saturday's local paper : "New '05 RX-8 $19,999. MSRP $32,995" I checked Mazda's site and it's a blue GT with cd changer.

Someone's gonna (or already did) get one helluva deal.

Was either the Tribune or the Daily Herald (can't remember which).

There has to be a catch, also that deal isn't that insane. I paid 22 out the door including TX sales tax/fees etc for a 05 sport 6spd with appearance and rotary accent packages.

For everyone asking, it was in Saturday's Chicago Tribune in the autos section; full page ad for Mazda and Suzuki. It says "Brand new 2005 Mazda RX8 $19,996" and at the bottom in fine print "MSRP for RX8 is $32,995" along with "all applicable incentives and rebates applied. All prices plus tax, title, license & DOC fee"

Their website is www.rosenrosenrosen.com. It says they're in Lake Villa (which is directly north of Chicago, very close to Wisconsin)

I have no affiliation with this dealer, blah blah blah.

I doubt it's a GT, if it is it has NO other options for 32K msrp. The MSRP on my 05 sport was 30,700 and the only options i got were rotary accents and appearance package.

32,995 sounds like no nav and no sunroof.

If you price online and get a 2006 GT with no options (I am pricing with my zipcode near the DFW metroplex), you get $31,505. It is possible.

The Ad was for a base automatic MSRP of $26025. A little bait and switch with the stock number not matching with the MSRP stated.
