Today I noticed for the first time, after driving about 10 minutes with AC on, then parking, I had a small puddle and a slow drip from under my car. It appeared to be water, was clear and soaked up into a paper towel, odorless, and felt like water between my fingers. I'm thinking its condensation of some sort from the AC, but haven't heard anyone else mention this. I have 1860 miles on the car and checked the oil which was fine. Any ideas or words of reassurement? Thanks. (BTW, It hasn't rained in a few days so I don't think its trapped rainwater)

Yep, just water. The condensation has to go somewhere...

it's completely normal for the condensation from the ac to drip down and leave a small puddle. in fact it needs to drip out so that it donsn't get trapped and freeze up the condensor. all ac units do this even those window units that you see hanging off of apartment buildings that you normally don't notice until you see the puddle on the ground and look up to see where it came from:)

First car, pullinteef? Don't worry, this happens with ALL cars (and A/C units as Zoom stated).

Maybe it's my first car with AC that works well or something. I never noticed that with my '94 MX-6 (sniff, sniff - R.I.P.) or any other cars I've driven. I'll miss my old car, bought new 10 years ago.
