Sorry if this has already been posted ( haven;t seen it here though ) but new on Carkeys yesterday was -
Mazda RX-8 Gets Glass's Approval (http://www.carkeys.co.uk/NE007705.htm)
or for those too lazy to click ...
It's one of these "How can they tell?" things, but Glass's is already making positive noises about the Mazda RX-8 which won't go on sale till November.
It reckons that the new four-seater rotary-engined coupé will hold 49% of its value after the standard period of three years/60,000 miles. That compares either favourably or very favourably with the depreciation expected from some rival cars - not that there are, from a technology viewpoint, many of those.
Emmox has been looking at the RX-8 from the standpoint of whole life costs, and concludes that both models will be just about the least expensive cars to run in their respective classes, with the 192bhp version likely to cost around 34.08 pence per mile, and the 230bhp car something like 35.04 pence.
