I haven't seen much activity from New Mexico yet. Given, most of the roads here are straight, but surely someone in this state is reading this board...!
While I'm waiting for delivery, I thought I'd start picking out good roads for trips. Durango north looks fun in So. CO. Does anyone have suggestions/recommendations for fun driving roads in NM?

My wife is from Alamogordo, and I lived there for three years a LONG time ago. We go back a couple of times a year. I am not familiar with anywhere except around Alamo, but highway 54 intersects with 82 just north of town (at La Luz), and goes up to Cloudcroft. This road can be great early in the morning (no traffic), but just as you get into Cloudcroft (just after the big curve leading into town), there is a road to the right (130, I think) that meanders around the mountain for about 15 or 20 miles, and then reconnects back to 82 on the back of the mountain (at Mayhill). Elevation changes, SHARP corners, flowing corners, a FUN road.
If you're ever in the neighborhood, you might want to consider it. I try and do it every time we're back (don't tell the local constabularies).

Highway 14 heading south from Tijeras outside of Albuquerque.
And the road heading up to the peak.
Or how about the highway that comes off of I-45 and goes through the Gila Ntl Forest to Silver Springs?

US 60 going from Socorro out towards Phoenix.
It's a great road trip and you get a chance to do everything you want, from going fast on a near straight road (from Magdalena to Datil, through the VLA) to going through uphill and downhill twists and turns (Salt River Canyon...then again, that's in Arizona)
The back road up to Sandia Peak in Albuquerque is another fun twisty turny road to take. (Take NM 14 north towards Santa Fe and make a left at the sign that indicates Sandia Peak)

North 14 into Santa Fe and then I think it's 528 up through the Jemez Mtns. I haven't taken my 8 through there but always go up there on my bike. Good to see some more 8s in NM!!!! We should all get together for a photo op!!
