Does anyone know of a product, or cleaning solution to clean the garnishes on the sides between the doors and the wheel well? I just discovered these garnishes are also called strakes. Whaddyaknow!

I think they are aluminum, or plastic with an aluminum coating...

Mine have started to pit or rust or corrode (not horribly so, but enough to bother me), whatever the term is, and I want them clean dammit!

I tried a silver cleaner, but it did nothing.

Any help would be great. Thanks :)
