D/FW Curb Rash Club

Well as of Saturday Night, you can add me to the list.
If this happened to my Enkeis, i could care less, but I had my Rays Wheels on when this hapened... RRRRR!!!

From what i understand, it runs about $100 to get your wheels refinished. Seeing how i only have about 3.5" of chrome that needs to get re-done, it might be less. I'll let yall know how the repairs go. If anybody has suggestions on local shops that can do this, and do this well... let me know.

Money is tight now, and if you check in the major horsepower section... i have much more important problems to fix. I'll probably get around to this later down the road.

Oh man, you scratched up those beautiful wheels. Bummer. I don't know of anyone local that actually repairs them, but I believe that Discount Tire can send them off to be repaired. The repair shop may be local, so maybe ask them if they can point you in the right direction. It shouldn't cost you more that about $125 even if you have to go through a third party like Discount. Thanks by the way for the shrouds, and it was nice to meet you. You've got one of the nicest RX-8s that I have seen. Good luck.

P.S. Where did you get your Rays wheels and what could I expect to pay?

Thanks everyone... I'm kinda bummed too, but I'm trying not to focus on this. I know i'll be able to eventually repair it for not too much $$$... so thats comforting.

JaguarGod,
I got these wheels from Discount Tire. They are the only US Vendor for the G-Games line of Rayswheels.
I'll send you a PM about the price.

I'm a repeat offender, unfortunately. Discount sends them someplace local, but not wheels america.
Wheels america has a local place somewhere off of 35S. They do a kickass job though, as we had them fix one through a dealership on our old Xterra.

I've got one really bad one and one annoying one, so I need to do this soon as well.
