On Monday, 4/17/06, TOOL's first single, Vicarious, off of their newest full length Album, 10,000 Days, will hit radio and satellite radio everywhere. It's been 5 years since Lateralus and I know many other fans have waited with extreme anticipation since the announcement of this album. The album is scheduled to be released May 2nd so we don't have to wait much longer.

I can tell you that the track is already circulating the internet as some radio stations have already gotten copies. It's not too hard to find it if you know where to look, and the track is outstanding. While I'm not an advocate of pirating music (every MP3 I have, I actually ripped from the CD myself as I own the CD, except *cough* one *cough* for which the album is not out yet), if you're a fan, go look for the track. It will not disappoint.

Vicarious is heavy, fluid, and most definitely TOOL. Check it out on the net or just listen to your local rock station on monday.

Yeah, been looking forward to it. I learned about the leak this morning and had to check it out. Great polyrhythms on that track, and I am sure that it will be one of the themes on this album.
