I'd rather pass and just wait a year to get the new Skyline GTR.
These R34s are going be last weeks news very soon.

Where is the artical calling the Nismo R34 Skyline GT-R Z-Tune the fastest production car on the planet. If i remember correctly, it was a pretty sick car.

Driving a rhd car is plain dumb over here. It could be done but don't plan on making any left turns without a passenger.....lol

Ouch, $55,100 and reserve still not met - I'll just buy myself a VERY nice BMW.

I showed this to a friend of mine that is in to Nissans and he said the president or whatever of Motorex just go arrested not to long ago for fake documents and other illegal stuff associated with importing cars, so this car might actually come down to not even being street legal here. Still a cool car none the less.

My brothers friend owns a shop and has 2 GT-r 34's and one 32. Ive taken a ride in his highly modded R-34 and it was the sickest car Ive ever sat in.

I would def. take a GT-R34 over a porsche anyday. Thats just MO.

i have never even seen an r34 or any other skyline in person, but i would still empty my 401k to buy one. so my plans of retiring at 45 gets pushed back a few more years...haha if they would only let me touch it...i have actually tried

after being in contac an driving several skylines of diferent trim levels for some years I have come to the conclusion that it is the most over rated car in the US, most are very moded thats why most people think its the best, and since most people cant get one it makes it more desireble, but a stock one its no better than most of japans sports car(supra,rx-7,etc).

and they are really ugly

its not vette killer out of the box. people get the GT-R for the same reason they get supra twin turbo, for the tuning potential.

rotary crazy

yes you are completly right, but it is not a $70,000 car, you can do much better with that amount of money, in fact skylines imported from japan go for $30,000 to $35,000 here, about the same that a 1999 to 2002 rx-7 goes for.

All i know is i saw my buddys GTR-34 kick the sh*t out of a Hennassy Viper... that was enough convincing for me.

the skyline its one of the mo0st mods friendly car out there, a friend of mine has a GT ( only rear wheel drive) thats putting out 760 rwhp.

yeah, people that buys those cars understand its the tunning potential they are after, not the performance out of the factory. cheap mods like, intake+exhaust+chip+tune and you are talking 400-500whp easily. with AWD traction its spanking cars left and right... then its still got the bullet proof internals like the supra twin turbo that can get up to sickening hp numbers wthout worrying about engine blowing up

I don't get why you keep saying this, I turn right all the time in my LHD car without a passenger, that is why they put mirrors on a car.

you realize that a Skyline is not a Toyota right?

considering i own a V35 skyline 350GT aka G35 in the US, i think im aware that skyline is not a toyota.

I don't think the mirrors will help you when you are in the left turning lane. You are looking forward not backwards, now you'll have a car blocking your view!

Next time your making a left turn, ask your passenger to tell you when it's safe to take the left turn :)

is it actually a skyline or do you just want to try to sound impressive, if you got it in the us its an infinity G35 end of sentence.

the same reason why it'd be hard to turn right in a LHD car in England.

im simply using the JDM name to express that i know its not a toyota. Its the same car so theres nothing wrong with calling it a skyline. no im not trying to sound impressive, stop hating.

not trying to hate just bringing up a valid point its an american car not JDM...trust me it'll be tough to find a z owner calling his car 'fairlady' ;)

for the record i consider the rx8 an american car as well...the us spec is different from the japanese spec after all regardless of where the parts come from and are put together.

goto my350z.com and do a search on fairlady and see how often Americans refer their car to fairlady. how about you let other people that owns the car worry about what they call their car? does it hurt you what they call their car? no pun intended

How did I own myself? I though he was bluffing about his 911....so what? No different then playing poker. You on the other hand, pollute this forum with silly nissan humping garbage that no one cares about.

FYI, Skylines are more played out then a seinfeld episode!!! The only difference is that I can still watch seinfeld.:)

you sure post a lot in a thread about a car that you dont care about. not to mention you're one of the first people to post in this thread. not to mention you havnt been posting much in other threads about other car. yet you post in a lot of Nissan related threads.

My mom owns a g35. It's a good car and I respect the power but c'mon you're alittle obsessive now. If you were just kidding about the hater comment then that's cool.

BTW did anyone from this site buy that skyline???J/K;)
