I think it all depends on what else you plan on doing to your car. Are there other Carbon pieces in your future or is this it. If not more parts, I would probably paint it white. Unless you plan on getting some dark wheels. Take a head on view, this may help me...or one with the entire car in.

The hood looks nice. I agree that VIS makes some good hoods.

The hood looks okay, not a fan of the vented ones. I love the way CF contrasts body paint on cars for some reason, and I would leave it CF. One thing I would have done long before buying a new hood when the old one was doing its job, would have been getting some sideskirts. The difference between the front and sides is just way too huge IMO.

Looks like they switched to the bigger weave....I still like the old smaller weave material better. Nice vented hood, though.

Nice hood, but i do suggest painting it white. The oreo look went out of style back in the late 90s, when ever integra owner wanted to have the ultimate jDm tYpe-R

THAT looks nice. Definately need darker wheels if you leave it cf, which I would recommend. I would do this if the price was right. $?

So, would you do me a favor? Take it up to 110 and see if the hood shakes in the wind. My last one gave me the ******* at speed. Of course, do not do this on public roads. Its illegal.

To many vents in the hood, looks kinda rediculous on a street car.

Uhm, call me ignorant that's fine. But wouldn't that let like water and other gross stuff get into your engine???

Personally I don't really like the look of carbon fiber anything, but the hood does look nice.

And yeah, what is that rotor hole looking thing on your front bumper. Tell me it's where you make sweet love to the car, because THAT would be funny

vis does make good hoods
but my experience with them sucked

I drove about a hour to pick up that same hood from their warehouse after I was told several times it was in stock

when i got there in my friends truck so i could pick the hood up they made me wait like an hour saying " we are looking for it , we cant find it

finally they gave up and i left
they offered me like 10 percent off when it comes in or something but i got the ks syle seibon hood the next day

i painted my cf hood to match the car
i think it looks ok on your white car though

To answer your questions:

1. The hood is in the old weave....the smaller weave...

2. I have not had my head lights smoked....

3. The hole in the front of the car is so that the racing beat intake gets direct cold air in to the air intake.....P.S. the bumper is not painted yet...just testing fitment....getting painted in two weeks....

4. I know that mikeb had pretty good experience with seibon....but other people on the forum have had problems with fitment.....I can tell you that i put the VIS hood on by myself in 10 minutes and fitment was perfect first try....
