swoope 04-02-2006, 01:23 AM in a nacar craftsman truck race in martinsville virginia.....
ok, i am an wanker in usa.... but wtf is ambrose doing in the usa in a truck race??????
he did good.. got wrecked, not his doing. like his battle on the island in aus that he pushed then got pushed back and whined about it...
why would someone leave the aussi touring for truck racing... i dont get it???? and i live in the usa and follow all forms of motorsport...
? when does the aussi touring car season fire up again? link?

i love all forms of motorsports, but the best racing i saw last year was the aussi touring car camp...
i think sheapard was the name of the guy from nz....
could you adopt me... i am good with tools... and i am an excellent bartender!!!!!
just confused about the jump from road racing to truck racing in the states.

Gomez 04-02-2006, 01:47 AM He had achieved what he wanted to down here. The next step was to leave this little pond and swim into deeper water. He hopes to conquer Nascar, ultimately.
Sorry mate, I don't have the room for all your stuff......but feel free to drop in next time you're out this way :) .
auzoom 04-03-2006, 12:17 AM Wasnt it the fact that no one wanted him driving for them? He was a hot head and always thought that everything was someone elses fault? Or am I thinking the wrong guy? I dont watch to much super car action if you hadnt noticed!
Andrew

takahashi 04-03-2006, 01:13 AM Do I care about Ambrose?
No ;)
I care about Jamie Wincup, since Jamie has been in the car with me  at Sandown.
Revolver 04-03-2006, 01:52 AM Didn't Ambrose have some success in open wheelers before going to tintops?
Personally, I find the two car Supercar Series pretty boring. I much preferred local touring car racing when there was a healthy variety of makes and models. The Fords and Holdens aren't even representative of cars the public can buy so I don't see much point in it. I appreciate this is all heresy for the red and blue brigades but that's my opinion. :)

Jamie is doing well for the 888 team. Craig and Jamie will be a force this year I reckon.
Re: Sandown... I don't think we'll see Jamie again as he is based in QLD. Would've been great to shake his hands... :mdrmed:
Allan Simonsen is also driving for the 888 team for the endurance race Sandown and Bathurst - I think!. Hmmm... we should get a photo of the upcoming V8 supercar drivers before they all move up north... :ylsuper:
takahashi 04-03-2006, 02:10 AM No my friend saw Jamie in the pit Sunday. Jamie told him that Luke gave him the rest of the year time table and will be a their for the rest of this year's Event Oneill - maybe he meant the Eastern Creek not Sandown?????
They travels astro.
astro 04-03-2006, 02:18 AM ^^^ cool... definitely pixs next time

Nope, cant say I have seen that on the shelves here. Mind you, I have a pretty narrow view of what I am looking for!!
Looks like you drink it way quicker than me anyway :)

A Bundy Boy, through and through?
The sponsor of our Wednesday twilight series for the past few years has been Mt Gay - not a bad rum but I've never been happy admitting to it. Just glad they use an abbreviation for Mount. :mdrmed:

did not think of that. checked the schedule the trucks dont run on roadcourses, which is to bad... that would be fun to watch.
