View Full Version : -PICS- I went to the drag strip in my EVO IX MR, results inside.
superscout03 03-31-2006, 01:15 AM I went to the Fayetteville motorsports park last sunday in my new EVO IX MR.
I think the results were very good, I only have an intake and an exhaust, and a custom tune. It was done on 93oct at 23psi. I was running my friends EVO VIII, he has alot more mods than me, and he was tuned by the same guy. This just shows the potential of the EVO 9 vs the EVO 8.
The first pic is the time slip. I am in the right lane.

DerrickWilliams 03-31-2006, 01:39 AM hey i've had my 8 for 2 years with almost 40,000 on it. I'm looking to get rid of it now too. Can't decide what I want to drive. I want to drive a rotary all the time, but I want a more luxurious ride. More comfortable.

sweet car the evo V, but man do they backfire. at least the only one i've ever seen (in the middle east) did.

That doesn't have much to do with it being an Evo V and more to do with the exhaust being catless and the AFR.

well i've only ever seen one, it still was amazing and quite quick, i just found that to be a distinguishing characteristic.

superscout03 03-31-2006, 11:48 PM Thanks guys. I just thought I would update ya and let you know how my mods are going. I am already in the process of a few more modifications. April 7th I will be running 11.5 @ around 118mph.
