Hey I'm adding some efx to a pic in Adobe Photo Deluxe Home Edition 4.0. Thing is it will only let me "save as" PDD PBD.
My question is how can I save my work in one of the following options? JPEG, JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIF, TIFF, SWF

Save it in PIIDB format.

Umm, not sure, maybe that program only saves in the proprietary formats to drive you crazy? You could try looking for a file converter on Google or something.

Is there no way to "Export"? Sometimes the save as doesn't let you do squat, but Export does.

You may need to merge layers before it will allow you to save in differeent formats. If not, save it however it will let you, then open with a different graphics program and save it then, converting it to the proper format.

If this still doesn't work, look on CNET.com. See if there's any downlaodable freeware that will allow you to make the conversion.

If this still does not work, email it to me and I'll convert it through science and skill. :wiggle:

In Adobe PhotoDeluxe, you must "Export" to a different file format. You will find the Export option in the File menu.

As Mr. Pocoloco says, you "export" them. Then you can pick your format. You will lose any fancy effects when you merge.
