I have a few choices on a some wheels that I want to purchase but I don't know how they will look on my 8. Anyone here good at photo shopping these wheels on a winning blue RX-8? Any help would be much appreciated.

bling isn't my cup of tea on the 8... or any other car that remotely resembles a sports car for that matter.

 

I agree. These are wheels for a pimpmobile - not a high-performance racer. But then that's just my opinion. I personally like the subdued colors such as the grey or black. But again, just me.

 

would it make it better if they were in polished alloy or silver? I was lookin for something in those finishes first. I didn't want to go black because I have chrome fender strakes and I think it would look weird.

 

in this case, no. those spokes in general look too bling
but it's your car, so seriously, get what you like... You wouldn't want to regret getting something you didn't really want just because someone else doesn't like it.

 

yeah but I don't want to make a big mistake in getting something that makes my car look stupid or "rice" either....

 

the 3rd ones are not bad! IMO i think the 8 deserves wheels with a lip!

this is an rx8 we're talking about, not a lincoln... dont go w/ blinged wheels. I dont think they look good. i agree with silver or black. even gold. mostly anything but chrome...

 

what's wrong with chrome? looks VERY hot on black IMO... kinda thinking of getting chrome (with a lip) on my NG

 

I don't really want to go with black cause I have chrome finished strakes and it looks weird.
