Started it today should be completely done by next wednesday. Adding 4 12in Infinity Reference subwoofers w/ 2 500watt Pheonix Gold amps, custom sealed enclosure and extra battery in trunk. Up front have to custom fiberglass and enclosure for my Clarion 7in flip out screen, since no companys make a dash kit for the 8. Had this setup in my old civic around 149dBs, Loud, cant wait till its finished. Will post photos when complete.

Damn....well your car HAD 50/50 weight distribution. Why would you want that much in your trunk, or what used to be your trunk? I have two subs, but they are adjusted to just give some extra tone to the music, not BE the music. But whatever floats your boat. I would have gone for springs, exhaust, intake, or hell for the amount your are probably spending on that dead weight all of the above. Enjoy. :ugh2:

Although I agree with you on a performance standpoint, why act like a child with your reply? Let the man do what he wants with HIS vehicle. Nobody is going to like you any better for jumping on the bashing bandwagon...

Sorry bout that J, you're going to need to record the rotory so you can play it on your stereo. Might be the only way you'll ever hear it again, haha.

You'll learn that I have a pretty harsh sense of humor...If you go that way more power to you, just not my taste.

springs are more likely to cause you trouble wiht the warranty people than an exhaust, and good luck finding Hiros these days, seems no one has any, and those that do, want you to take out a mortgage for them.

We all have to remember, some people mod their cars with audio, some go the performance route. To each his own, rotor on.

Though its not the financially sound thing to do, you could go the Mazdaspeed route. If you pay your life savings to Mazda and let them do the install, you will not void your warranty. Depending on the part, some come with a warranty as well. The MS springs, shocks, and coilovers are pretty good. The old exhaust didn't do much at all(from what I've heard) and I don't know too much about the new sport exhaust.
The prices are already high for MS stuff, the labor is outragous. But if price isn't an issue, a good option to look into.
A lot of dealerships are cool with mods as long as you keep the stock parts and agree to make it "stock" if there is any major warranty work to be done. This is how my dealer is. :)
FWIW I "voided" mine about a week after I bought it.
