Almost 60 degrees, partly cloudy....the weather's the best it's been in weeks and I'm itching to use my Zaino kit for the first time! Wash, clay bar, wash, wax (x2)....anyone see that Bud Light commercial of the doofus who stayed in the office until 5 minutes after 5pm on a Friday? Yeah I look like that right now. :sweatdrop I wonder if I need a crash helmet and goggles too...

it's 20 degrees right now with threat of snow and freezing rain for tomorrow. Just a few more weeks till I can drive with the windows down and roof open.

yeah, Mother Nature is teasing us here in So Cal today... BEAUTIFUL weather but there's a storm coming in soon...

You'll love your Zaino! I'm completely hooked on it and I think you will be too once you try it out. Can't wait to see pics...

I drooled over the box when it got delivered last week! I'm pretty stoked about washing/waxing my car for an entire day *w00t*

That's the attitude to have!! that's awesome!
Make sure you've got plenty of microfiber towels handy and you'll be good to go.

Oh, I used a Home Depot spray bottle to lubricate the surface as I was clay barring....random zaino tip of the day, just in case you needed it.

Again, can't wait to see pics... Are you going to do Z2 or Z5 coats?

I know what you mean... currently 93 here and I have to stay late to make up some time. I even drove to work with my sunroof open!! Too bad it's gonna rain in the next couple days - AGAIN!

Of course! I'm going through the whole sha-bang for the first time around, I've been reading the instructions inside and out :mdrmed: Even though I don't have any scratches or swirlmarks....yet *knocks on wood*. I also plan on getting the 3M clear coat on my front bumper and hood next month.

I was looking at microfiber towels but there are so many questions regarding whether they scratch or not (depending on their quality anyway). So I just went by Zaino's recommendation and bought 3 bath-size 100% Egyptian cotton towels. Man, is it me or is this bathroom stuff getting expensive?? They cost me 10 bucks each!

I'll also check out home depot for a spray bottle (they're just down the street from me), I completely forgot about that!

yeah, some of those towels are starting to get really expensive.

I bought some towels from www.fiber-works.com and I love them! They aren't the cheapest things out there but when it comes to keeping my black car clean... well, you know what I mean.

Mine's ti gray, so yeah I know what you mean. Which towels did you buy for the exterior? I see that there's several different kinds.

Is Zaino expensive???? I keep hearing people talk about it (seeing people type about it), so I thought I'd ask. :)

Look here (http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=ZKIT-1&Category_Code=Zaino).

I paid about $92 for the whole kit shipped. A lot of people on here seem to stand by this Zaino stuff so I thought I'd give it a shot :)

Does the Zaino kit actually remove light scratches on the surface of the paint (scratches only visible when viewed from different angles)? I am hearing more and more about this Zaino stuff and I might have to try it.

The Z5 is designed to help cover up some of those hairline scratches.

Works pretty well
