i would be an avid reader - but not a poster ... don't have too much technical knowledge.

still waiting to see if i want the 8 though. with this missing horsepower issue, cabin heat, and who knows what else, might be headed for a Z.

well the so called "missing Hp" might be just a factory ECU blockage for number of kms so engine breaks in.

i just turned down a silver rx-8 from the port moody dealer about 3 hours ago. i want to wait for the titanium grey with chapparal (sp?) leather. but it still feels bad.

will give me a chance to see if any serious issues come from the RX8 ... even though it's been out for a while now in Japan.

doesn't seem to be much activity west of Ontario in here ... but who knows.

hmm.....i hope what bcrx7 says is right about the ecu blockage.....
