I live in Sweetwater, and will hopefully get mine in Ft. Lauderdale (where my fiance lives) with lots of luck, this weekend, if not next. I dont really head down to Kendall much, but once i get the car I AM gonna be enjoying it as much as possible.

Make the hour commute to Ft. Lauderdale MUCH more pleasant I think.

There's 1 or 2 guys in your area on the boards I think. But I too havent seen a single car on the roads yet.

Live in Coral Gables, and I've been driving mine since 8/16th - Black/Leather/Sun Roof/Navigational Package...a little tricky to figure out, but the screen looks "cool" :D.

I didn't order one. Ocean Mazda unexpectedly received 1 black & 2 red. In fact, I just saw another one they received. It has the Spoiler/Black & Red leather combination inside/many sporty extras. It's beautiful!!

I'm thrilled with mine so far.

Would be happy to "hook up" with you all...

A little less then msrp. Fuddruckers is a restaraunt that serves Burgers. I hope they are talking about the one at the end of the 826 on US 1 South (South Dixie Highway).

The Fudruckers on US1 and 104th Street by the Falls. I havent been there in a while but I think they still do it. First Saturday of every month they have a car show. Lots of people turn out for it and all kinds of cars.

i used to go to the first saturday of every month car shows at fudruckers also, but for almost a year that hasn't been any shows because kmart was complaining about their parking, although im not sure if they're doing it again. even though i dont own an rx8, if there is a show i know me and my buddies 1 with a 350 and another with a souped up se-r spec v will go. i will call fudruckers and see if it is still going on

I just called Fuddruckers, and they don't have the Car Show anymore...only "Bike Night" which is on Thursdays.

Any other ideas?

How about La Careta on 87Th and Bird. Usually in the Evenings some people bring out there cars and bikes to show off to every one.

A Dealership in Ft lauderdale has 7 in stock to see and test drive.
They are located on 441 and 595.

I have seen a couple, a red and a yellow. Also, in the professional park I work at, close to MIA, Mazda has some corporate offices. I see them all the time there.
Actually got to drive one.:)

How about Next Friday September 19, 2003 at 8:00 PM in the parking lot of La Carreta?

We could all meet there, show off our cars and have a little Cuban Coffee so that we ZOOM ZOOM just like our cars.

Look for me in my fine Titanium gray next friday. Thats rather close ot my place anyways so I dont even have to worry about traffic :D

Fellow rotor head here...and i was wondering if some you would be interested in joining our RX7 meets. We do a once a month get together....but there some guys that meet up on a weekly basis. Its done on the first friday of the month, it was done at Tower Shops but we will changing that venue for the next one. I will start up a new thread for it if you guys are interested. It would be good to see all versions of the rotarys in one spot.

lamigre, What is your name exactly? Also, where will we meet? Outside? I've never done this. Or...we can meet inside at the entrance. If we meet inside, I'll be the 5'4" 30ish redhead that has a "serious, standoffish, arrogant" look on my face. DON'T LET IT SCARE YOU!!! I've been told many times how unapproachable I am so this car has actually helped. It gives people something to say to me. NICE CAR!

I have a black 8 live in Miramar but my girl lives in Lakes of the Meadows in west kendal by bird and 147 so if people interested in setting up a big group im in

tommy, every tuesday and thursday nights there are meets at arond 10:30 at la caretta or the taco bell parking lot infront of tropical park on bird and the palmetto. theres a black and red gt's that go regularly and theres a bunch of other very nice cars that go and its alot of fun. anyone else who wants to go is welcome.
