What are you guys doin for valentines day?

Nothing planned so far. At least that means I don't have to spend anything..

Well, I am working during the day. Then it's embroidery club night (my boyfriend has it at his store) so I am going to that. I am going to wear a slip I bought at Victoria's Secret and try to pass it off as a dress since I did buy the crocheted sweater/bed jacket to go with it. He is then supposed to take me somewhere afterwards since we always go out after class.

I told the lady at Friday's last night that I was the 3rd wheel (went with my friend and his gf) and she proclaimed I was her "fake date." I'm not entirely sure what to make of that, but I thought it was amusing. Though, I should probably get crackin on that "real date" I've been thinking about. It'll probably go horribly awry like it usually does, but I suppose there's no other way to find out... :mdrmed:

i don't get why this day was made to be this big and this popular. especially if the origins came from a priest who fell in love with a girl in jail. Or a priest who got persecuted by the romans for the rights of young roman soldiers so that they can get laid. It's all messed up as to how this day came about and all I know is that corporate assholes at hallmark decided that they needed to sell more freakin cards.

I didn't think you were suppose to give chocolate to dawgs. I heard it could hurt them....dunno.

To top it off - it's my birthday too. Yup - Hallmark did a bang-up job on this one. I just ignore it, since all the restaurants are crowded, and the food won't be so good anyways. Better to pick another night.

So tomorrow I'll take my 8 out, hook up my iPod and enjoy the mountain roads around Asheville. That will make me and my ride very happy. :inlove:
