Given that production started last week , and finishes in another couple of weeks - it is fairly safe so assume that some of our cars have now been 'born' and are being prepared (or maybe even just sitting awaiting loading).

Are we supposed to be getting info to 'track' them during build ? The Americans got VIN numbers and things I seem to remember and could track progress via a website.

I know it wont change the wait , but it would be quite fun.

Anyone know anything ?

When I spoke to my dealer last week he seemed to think that progress could be checked thorugh the preorder part of the web site. But having checked just now, nothing has changed.

Not really a surprise given that the most recent article on the "Latest News" portion is dated 17th June.

Perhaps MarkW can expolre this with his contacts.
