Which size supercharger would be best for my 4 port.
I am looking at the range of lysholm twin screw superchargers.
Can someone explain or show me some internetsites how to calculate which size would be best to get between 250 and 300 rwhp at about 7.5psi and 7000rpm.
thanks

Hymee a member of this forum he is working on a kit for 4 ports and auto tranny my 8 are 4 ports with auto tranny we adapt a ford thunderbird s/c with 8 pound of boost with front intercooler and we get a 276 reliable rwhp .now we remove this this setup for a 3 rotor with manual tranni in it.

I very much doubt you will get 300rwhp out of a twin screw on this car at 7.5psi. Even with a more efficent TC, you will not get 300rwhp at 7.5psi, and twin screws are less efficient than a turbo. But you'll get some awesome midrange gains. I would expect closer to 240whp - 250whp.

you put a ported M112 eaton and teflon coat the rotors and slap it on :) that might get you 300whp maybe?

Does anyone know which size hymee or pettit is using in their projects?
250rwhp will be fine for me. I think we can get the same hp as the 6 ports, because when you look at the dynoresults they all get stuck at about 7k rpm and most turboed cars in japan are 4 ports. Doen't know which engine Feed is using but for turbo and sc i think the 4port is the best option.
