Hey folks...
A couple friends and I over on mazda6club.com are putting together a little get-together at D&B's in Atlanta. Nothing fancy, no dyno's, no trophies, no scantily clad women unless you bring your own :rock: . Just a bunch of Mazda ethusiasts getting together to hang out, talk shop, play in a huge arcade, and eat some good food. We're aiming towards the end of March, probably the 26th (Sunday). Any and all Mazdas are welcome. So here's the basics...

Where's it gonna be? Dave and Buster's in Atlanta. I-85 exit 103, Steve Reynolds Blvd

How long, oh Lord? As long as you want. No schedule. We'll start arriving around two, and stay until the last man says "Peace out!"


So spread the word around, and let's see if we can get a good turn-out up there.

Sure!! This meet is for all Mazda Models. Invite some of the other RX8 guys. Just a friendly meet. If you or anyone else like Billards. We can see who is the best at a few games.

All models are welcome. We can meet over here in macon and convoy up if you want to. Although I think it is quicker for you just to go north out of M-ville. Either way, come on, bring some m-ville friends, and I'll see if I can persuade olddragger to drag himself up there with us.

We may even have some 6er's coming down from Ohio for this. The more the merrier!

I'll already be in Atl that day at the Mariott in northwest atl. My check-out is at 12 noon so I can kill 2 hrs at the mall easy. As of right now I'm planning on being there. Maybe we can convoy it back down to macon and split from there. Just let me know what's up. I'll try to invite my friend who just got his lightning yellow 8 and see if he wants to come.

I probably will not be able to make this one but let me throw something back at yall. The reason I cant make it is because the w/e before the one mentioned here we rx8 guys are having a BIG w/e event at Road Atlanta. LAst count 12 RX,8's One Evo and One Mustang(forgive him lord-----jk) will be doing NASA HPDE event on Saturday and SUNDAY--about 350-400 miles on the Road Atlanta track! Great time and spectators get in free. Many differant kinds of cars present, many differant kind of events. SO to NASA on the web for details. Everyone is more than welcomed to come up--not to late to participate if you wish.

Trel, I think he is referring to the weekend of March 18-19. That looks like an awesome event, but for me the timing just isn't in the cards. Come summer when I'm out of school I'll have a little more flexibility in weekend events, but during the year I'm lucky to get MAYBE a weekend (even just a saturday or sunday) off here and there.

No worries, OD, we can always grab a few guys here in Macon one night soon and have a few drinks and such.

Yeah buddy. I forget how many pool tables they have, but it's near to 20. They're everywhere, and you never have trouble finding an open one. Come on Chris, it'll be a good time.

Less than a month away now, figured this was a good time for a token **BUMP** back up to the top. We're looking like a GOOD turnout, Mazda's of all kinds, should have some representation from miatas, 3's, MS Protege's, Protege5's, RX7's, RX8's, 6's, even a couple MX6's. Ya'll should really try to make it if you can, it's going to be people from all backgrounds, even some folks from Ohio and possibly from Florida. Check the first post for more details. Dude, if it had been this weekend I could have worked the time off being my spring break. Not a snowball's chance in hell otherwise. Keep the events running this summer and I'll be seeing ya'll around the track more.

Hey yall...new member over here...that mazda event sounds good, this sunday right? are you all gonna have like a stand or sign thingy going on to be able to locate you people easily? I'm thinking about joining you, I don't live that far from D&B. What time exactly? :cool:

No...there isn't going to be any sort of signage or anything. This is a really informal gathering. No official show or anything. D&B usually doesn't have a whole lot of traffic on Sunday afternoons so just look for a bunch of Mazdas of all kinds gathered together. We won't be hard to miss =)

It was nice meeting you and your g/f today 9GRedline. You were the only RX-8 to show up. Hope to see you at Deals Gap on April 8th. And don't forget the Walter Mitty at Road Atlanta on the 28th of April too.

It was a pleasure to meet you as well. You have a beautiful FD and if I have anything to do about it I'll definately try to show up for either Deals Gap or Walter Mitty.

I would like to state for the record that it's messed up to close a legitimate thread instead of warning or reprimanding the person responsible for starting the crap, who also has a history of starting problems in other threads.

I wanted to take a ride in the white one (that's ATL6 on here) but I just forgot to ask and then left early anyway. I am bound and determined to ride in one/drive one at some point. I can't wait to meet some of ya'll if we can get a track meet geared up this summer. Lord knows what that RX guy would do if he saw a SEDAN out on the track with the almighty renesis-powered cars.

L8r guys!We were tearing it up at Road Atlanta with NASA-SE. We had a great turnout with 8 RX-8s on track in various groups. Good times :)

All my posts have been removed... I believe that as a Citizen of this great nation I am entitled to voice my opinion.. so why would you have to censor my comments... i find it in bad taste to have deleted my posts... after all it is a free country that I am living in.

I mean no disrespect... just needed to be heard.
