Fifth Gear. **** programme.

Vicky Butler-Henderson - appeared out of the EMAP advertising-vacuum magazine world, originally from the Boy Racer/Ricer mag Max Power, cannot drive for ****. Has a definite bias for FWD cars - but when stuck in a Golf GTI club race, lost completely and utterly. As can be seen on this, cannot handle the RX8's tail at all, no finesse to her handling.

 

You can tell there is something wrong when she says- "...but that steering(the RX8s) just really really let's it down."

Is she on crack? The steering on the 8 is farking telepathic.

 

yeah i found that reallly strange too especially when all the other reviews i read/seen didn't have anything to say about the steering except that it was incredible.

 

as an artist, i sometimes find the dumbess comments about my illustrations. And sometimes critics try to find SOMETHING particular about a perfect piece of art that they can dissect and complain about. If she complained about the steering wheel, It's actually a good thing. Since she can't find anything else wrong with it while testing it around the track.

 

Yeah Fifth gear does suck. I like Tiff though. I really dont respect Vikki and her test laps at all. Top Gear is good but only when Clarkson isnt waxing eloquently abt how much he loves some British cars. I can imagine being a little patriotic but he's usually nuts and likes nay loves anything remotely british. Other than that Top Gear is a prefect car show. fifth gear is a very much also-ran in my book. I watch it cos its about cars but dont really trust anything the presenters say.
