i got the new switchblade key today. programmed it and the remote. the only thing not working is the panic button. i did find that the panic button is not working on the old remote either though. i know it was working last week, but i did have the car in for service. is it possible the programming of the new key would stop the panic button from working? or is it possible it just stopped working

ok, i realized i hadnt set the programming for the original remote, that is why the panic button wasnt working on the original. it is working on the original just not the new one. the light on the remote lights up when i press it, just doesnt do anything

Chance are you'll never need to use it. I only used it once. I was washing the car once and went inside for a few minutes. I noticed through the window that the neighbors kids were playing a little too close to my car. From inside I hit the panic button and scared the hell out of 'em. They don't play around my place much anymore. :D:

The only real use for the panic button is when you can't find your car in the parking lot.
