The Miata Crowd has had National events all over the country (Florida, Indiana, PA, California). Half the fun of the event is getting there! We are hoping for a HUGE "8" corral at this years National event in Vegas which is an ALLMAZDA event....any of you guys planning to come?

Another question (and confession)... I have been a rotary nut for years (2 gen one RX-7's and a gen 3...I still own 2 of these cars).... my time doing Miata Magazine has been great fun but I would like to expand and cover the rotary world as well. The Miata folks seem very cool with this (as long as I don't go all Mazda...minivan with the mag). How do you guys feel about having a magazine of your own (albeit shared with your baby brother).... I wish I could make it to the Nationals this year, but I'm having to settle for just the Monterey event. :D

Re expanding Miata Magazine to add RX content - I think it's a great idea. I'm already a subscriber, so maybe my vote doesn't count - but from the point of view that we're all Mazda sports car enthusiasts, not just rotor or piston heads, I think expanding the focus to include the other sports cars in the Mazda family has a lot of potential.

Montery is a MUST for every car enthusiast if only once in a lifetime. I think it has been great to see people pumped up again about rotaryengines. Had a chance to meet some of the very early designers (not Wankle but close) and must admit an excitement about the rotary revival. I do hope a lot of you brave souls put some miles on those new wheels and come to the nationals.
