i just received my borla exhaust system today and installed it right away. it took 2 of my friends and i around 3 hours to finish because of the rubber hook holders. i didnt know there were 5 until after i took the exhaust out of 4 of them. the last one was connected to the pipe. after we finished we were all hella excited to hear it. it has this low toned roar. it also doesnt backfire at all (not that i noticed it). but god damn this was the exhaust ive been wanting the whole time. it didnt sound ricey at all too. its not really loud at low rpm (cruising speed). but when you step on it, this thing really comes alive. it also wouldnt kill the rotary sound. you can still hear it clearly even when your outside while reving it. i say this is one of the best exhaust for the rx8. well ill post some pics when i upload them into my computer.

i bought this exhaust system for $410 shipped on ebay used. and it was in pretty good condition too.
