hello i live in kc and my car is still not here. Mine came into tacoma on the first boat like a month ago. The dealer still keeps telling me anyday now. When should i really expect my car to be here. I am slowly growing more and more impatient.

Did you order lots of accessories?

If so, I think those cars from that first boat are taking longer to get to the dealerships for some reason.

This morning i called mnao and asked when my car should arrive here in kc. She told me that it has been in tacama since 7/3 and that it would not arrive until the 4th week of august. That means the car has been sitting in tacoma for 5 weeks and is likely to be there for another 3-4 weeks. This just makes no sense i didn't even order any port installeed options. How does my car sit in a parking lot in tacoma for 2 months. It is probobly getting all rusty by now. My dealer told me 3 weeks ago it would be here anyday. Now i have to wait anothe 3 weeks. This is bullshit. Sorry but i had to let it all out. Does anyone think mnao could be wrong?

I don't think anyone has yet to figure out any logic in the delivery schedules for these cars. All I can say is hang in there - it IS worth the wait!

here's the chronology:

call to mnao yesterday to ask about specifics regarding the train derailiment. i'm told they know nothing about it and that my ETA is now august 11. (UP from week 4 aug...imagine that)

notice an empty transport truck parked in front of bommarito on my way to work today (8:50am) pay it no mind cuz my car's not supposed to be here until monday.

put it out of my mind all day. 3:45pm getting ready to call bommarito about accessory pricing...literally put my hand over the receiver and it rings...

"are u sitting down?" my salesman says. "yeah," i reply. "your car is here!"

after about an hour and a half (paperwork, dealership tour and installing front mask) i'm off!

i still can't believe it. THE WAIT IS OVER AND I HAVE MY CAR!!

Picked up mine this morning :D Was booked with a client all day today so I was only able to drive from the dealer to my meeting (about 4 miles) but I was honked at 4 times on the way to the meeting :D A couple of guys in an A4 weaved in and out of traffic to get next to me at a stop light and had me roll down the window "$hit man is that the new 8!" they said "SWEET, my brother has a 350Z but this is much better looking!" They asked when I got it and where and then I took off and left them in the dust :D Great way to start the day. Had a chance to wash it and then take the family for rides this evening -- will Zaino this weekend and install some of my accessories -- strakes, door sills, and maybe the exhaust finishers (those look tough :( )

I can't beleave it today i was scanning through my email when i saw a respnse from mnao and they said my car left port on 8/7 and would be at my dealer monday 8/11. Should i actully anticapate seeing the car this monday. YEAH!
