Roar Racing completes successful Daytona Test Days in preparation for the 2006 Grand-am Cup season. The team completed a best lap of 2:10.987 and topped the time charts in the final round of practice on Saturday afternoon. Roar Racing would like to extend an invitation to all members and friends of RX8club who will be attending any upcoming Grand-am Cup events during the course of 2006 to please come by and meet our team and check out the cars. Leading the team will be owner Nick Gurucharri and co-driver Rob Whitener in car No. 62. Franklin Futrelle IV will be joined by Dr. Susan Addison in the No. 26 machine. The complete 2006 team driver line-up will be announced at a later date.

Roar Racing is an evolution of NRG Motorsports which has catered to Mazda club racing since 2000. Roar Racing’s experience, combined with cutting-edge technology and innovation for racecar design, will surely make them tough competitors in this year's Cup Series.

Nearest location to Chicago for a GrandAM race is Mid-Ohio

Very nice paint job. I will be at the Barber event for the Cup and Rolex races cheering all the RX8s. Last year we got set up with a parking corrall for RX8s and discounted tickets. We had 19 people with about 12 RX8s show up and represent. I bet we'll have even more there this year. If any RX8 owners and friends want to join the GARX8Club gang this year keep your eyes on the SE forum as we set up ticket discounts and hopefully a special parking area.
