I know that ULLLOSE can't make it, and I see that John V and clyde are signed up to run a CTS-V. PedalFaster 01-09-2006, 06:48 PM I likely won't be transporting my car to San Diego, which means I'll be looking to codrive someone else's car, which in turn means I could be running an RX-8... :) ULLLOSE 01-09-2006, 07:23 PM Our plans have us out of town :wallbash: but for the right price I could leave a fast RX8 for someone to race. :rollingla Just kidding. :wink2: TeamRX8 01-09-2006, 09:04 PM Our plans have us out of town :wallbash: :ftw: well I guess that's one way to avoid the inevitable defeat of the champion ... clyde 01-09-2006, 09:18 PM Anyone planning on running an 8 in the SD tour? I know that ULLLOSE can't make it, and I see that John V and clyde are signed up to run a CTS-V. how did that happen? :dunno: ULLLOSE 01-09-2006, 09:23 PM :ftw: well I guess that's one way to avoid the inevitable defeat of the champion ... Free weeks vacation in FLA or get beat in SD.... :boring: Easy choice. :hahano: Yes I will have to wait a week and take my beating at the Pro. Imp 01-09-2006, 10:11 PM Hmmm, I'm going. If you want to leave teh keys/car, I'd be more than happy to give it some exercise, let it out, pee on some other cars... I will be out there. Just booked it as a matter of fact, most likely in STU. :) mp5 01-09-2006, 10:22 PM STU huh? B-stock is looking pretty thin so far. It's nice to win and all, but not when I'm the only one there... plus we need at least 3 people in class to get contingency money. :mdrmed: TeamRX8 01-09-2006, 10:39 PM  Free weeks vacation in FLA or get beat in SD.... :boring: Easy choice. :hahano: Yes I will have to wait a week and take my beating at the Pro. Cito 01-10-2006, 09:11 AM I would consider coming out there to see family and warm up tires for somebody. If anyone has a ride they would be willing to share, feel free to PM me. John V 01-10-2006, 11:57 AM Anyone planning on running an 8 in the SD tour? I know that ULLLOSE can't make it, and I see that John V and clyde are signed up to run a CTS-V. I wouldn't put much stock in anything those guys do... they don't seem to know WTF they're doing. :spank: mp5 01-11-2006, 08:17 PM I'm a total noob to national stuff, and I just got my Mazda Motorsports decals in. How do you guys apply these (and all the required scca stuff) to the car so they come off easy and without leaving gunk behind? Magnetic backing? clyde 01-11-2006, 08:57 PM I'm a total noob to national stuff, and I just got my Mazda Motorsports decals in. How do you guys apply these (and all the required scca stuff) to the car so they come off easy and without leaving gunk behind? Magnetic backing? The stickers come off easy when you take them off quickly (apply friday, remove sunday, no problem). If the car is clean with good wax, zaino or similar, the difficult part will be getting the decals to stick ot the car more than the transfer paper. Once they're on the car, they'll stay as long you want and come off without any problems. The stuff for the sides and the SCCA wire wheel one I have on magnets. ULLLOSE 01-11-2006, 10:08 PM Magnets for the sides and static cling for the hood, bumpers rear doors. Imp 01-22-2006, 08:57 AM My co-drive in STU fell through it looks like. He dept got laid off and he's calling off the tour. Now I'm just looking for a co-drive in any class. :) (BS would be cool!) Amyone? --kC John V 01-22-2006, 09:28 AM Drive a Caddy in FS. There's another one entered. :rollingla Imp 01-22-2006, 10:44 AM Drive a Caddy in FS. There's another one entered. :rollingla Do you know them? Hook a brother up!! I'd do that! FS with Caddys... think of the possibilities! clyde 01-22-2006, 01:05 PM Do you know them? Hook a brother up!! I'd do that! FS with Caddys... think of the possibilities! Don't know him, but it sounds like he's the guy that built Arizona Motorsports Park? Maybe Jason knows him? TeamRX8 01-22-2006, 04:11 PM Yes, that's who it is. MS ULLLOSE 01-22-2006, 11:17 PM Don't know him, but it sounds like he's the guy that built Arizona Motorsports Park? Maybe Jason knows him? Yes that is the man. I wont speak for Dan but I will say I have known him for 10 years and in that time have only seen two codrivers. What you guys should do is call up Goodwin Racing and see if he wants to know how fast his STU RX8 is..... It might help his sales to have a couple of fast guys run it at a tour. TeamRX8 01-23-2006, 12:25 AM People with extensive resources don't need to be bothered with codrivers, particularly complete strangers Imp 01-23-2006, 07:58 AM People with extensive resources don't need to be bothered with codrivers, particularly complete strangers So you're saying you were bothered when you had a co-driver last year? Who's bothering? It gives another shot at the car winning. :ylsuper: ULLLOSE 01-25-2006, 02:34 PM :jump: :jump: Trip to FLA got changed to the weekend after the Fontana Pro.... We get to go to the SD tour. :dubs: mp5 01-25-2006, 03:24 PM Sweet. :icon_tup: Looks like I'm in for some ownage, as usual. Imp 01-25-2006, 03:29 PM I'm still looking for a co-drive with someone... :) TeamRX8 01-25-2006, 04:40 PM go away kid, you bother me .... :p: mp5 03-01-2006, 05:21 PM I won't be able to make the tour due to personal issues. I'm pretty bummed out cause I was REALLY looking forward to my first tour. Anways, good luck to those that are competing. I might be able to stop by Sunday and say hi. See you at the ProSolo... |
