I went to a model shop on Yorkville last week and saw a 1:18 diecast of the RX-8 in the movie X2. It's a limited production run by AutoArt, so it should be a nice collectible for anyone interested. As for me, I just got a rotary keychain instead, since I didn't like the wheels of the X2 RX-8.

I think it would be cool if Mazda produced the 8 in the same colour as the X2 one, it's like a more purpley blue, sort of like the TSX blue.

IIRC that color was called 'Mutant Blue Mica' in Mazda press release....

Yep, lucky for me I got the 1/18th scale 787B along with my X2 RX-8 for Xmas! ;)

Which completes my RX-8 collection... 1 standard production, 1 X2 limited, and the Renown RX-8...

Tamiya just came out with their 1/12th scale of the Porsche Carrera GT!! Hopefully they'll offer it in black... can't have a car like the GT in Silver... ;)

My brother got that model. I just want to rip the wing off and turn it upside down (or right side down) so bad.

If you especially like the X2 car there is a zip-zap from Radio Shack (1:64). I bought one off E-bay and I like it.
