Anybody recommend a good dealer to take my 8 to for warranty work in the Columbia area of Maryland?
I've got the problem with rusty brakes and figure I'll drag it into the dealer for warranty coverage. Just don't have any experience with any of the dealers in the area.
Any suggestions?

Try Rich Morton in Glen Burnie off route 100 across from Circuit City. Ask for Frank Titus he is a straight shooter. I've been dealing with him since I purchased my 8 there.
I would not recommend Russel Mazda on rt 40 I had too many issues with them with my 7 and Millenia "S"

Cool, just checking to make sure he hadn't quit or anything.
I bought the 8 at congressional in Rockville (best price and exactly what I wanted was on the lot) but won't deal with them again.

I take mine to Gaithersburg Mazda (wasn't going to say anything cause I figured you would not want to come out this far, but if you bought in Rockville...) I have had nothing but stellar service there. Ask for Roy if you take it there. He will take good care of you.

I personally recommend Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Annapolis on west street. They are a Mazda / Mitsubishi dealer. When you go down ask for “Scott” in service. That man is a WONDER on the rotary engines. If my memory serves me right, he is a master technician on the rotary engines. I use to go back to my dealer (Russell Mazda in Catonsville on RT40) but they replaced my girl Samantha (I MISS HER MAJORLY) with some dick (I don’t remember his name) who ALWAYS has an attitude. So much for customer service right? He is of no help at all and when you ask a question you get more attitude. I don’t know why he is like that but maybe he hates his job or something. Also I think something was up when I checked my receipt after my oil change and saw they put in synthetic when mazda says NO TO SYNTHETIC OIL IN A ROTARY. When I asked him about it his only reply was “We use it in all the cars around here, im sure its ok”. Yeah that’s the last time I went back there and started using Fitzgerald Mazda in Annapolis.

They've fixed my broken center console and squeeky brakes (twice) with no ifs ands or buts. If you want no hassle, Fitzgerald in Annapolis is the place.
