I received another gift from my dealer a few weeks ago. I received an RX-8 coffee mug and a thermos. They also included a copy of a 60 page Road and Track article about the RX-8. Has anyone else received a gift like this?

No....but I really tried to get one via Mazda after ordering my car.

I was the first person to receive an RX-8 in my area (San Luis Obispo, CA), and they said that the dealer was the only way I could "change" my order status so that I could receive the gifts since it was "too late"......go figure.

I did pay a mark up for this car, since I really wanted it. I told my dealer, "I really want that mug and thermos gift; see what you can do for me. I'm not going to bring this up again because that's how I view service to the customer."

So far, I've heard or received nothing....and I got the first car!

Yeah I'm happy with my car....it is totally awsome. Details, details....listening to the customer; that counts for something too.
