so last night i spent 13 hours waiting at best buy trying to get an xbox 360 but they ran out when i was 3rd away.

nice marketing skeam microsoft. not producing enough for the holiday season but trying to keep it wanted for longer.

Sad considering it's going to be flooded come next year... I returned mine after the stupid thing kept crashing. 4 games... only 1 of which is worthwhile to play. Not much of a release.

I'm on the reserve list. Walked in to ask how far down I was and was told 53rd. So I'm thinking cool I'll be getting one soon. Well let just say, I still haven't felt a Xbox 360 controller. It's really pissing me off. I'm trying to figure out what the point of having a release date is, if you cant even make enough for the people who you are on a reserved list. I mean come on, I'm 53rd!!!!!!!!

Sell the box on Ebay...Apparantly you can sell the box for the same price as the PS3.

I got mine on friday at Best Buy. I only had to wait 2 hours outside in the cold. I've only had a chance to play it for a couple of hours...but it is awesome. Hope that you guys get yours soon.

If you think this is the first time they've come out with a game system around the holidays and didn't have enough for everyone who wanted one, you must be very young. It's pretty common practice.

It can't be all Microsofts fault! You have to take into account that the retailers start taking pre-orders well before they know how many units they are getting! Sometimes I think they start taking orders before the name of the console is even finalized so the demand can easily outweigh the supply especially when they finally announce the release date and people start pre-ordering by the bunches!

that's how you boost prices and once ps3 comes out.. they'll lower their price to match ps3 or keep it the same as is if the ps3 is to cost more..


remember back when ps2 came out ?? long lines... or how about when N64 was a hot item for a bit there? long lines... lol

I should seriously start selling these to guys on the forum with a simple $100 markup...no BS

they are always in stock at the local targets around here...MN peeps are a little more even keeled and like to wait out a product until it is proven in the market I think

I could go to Target tomorrow and buy probably 6 without even blinking...people would look at me like I am crazy since they don't sell well around here

btw I live in the Twin Cities with 2 million people around so it isn't like I live in an Amish village :)

Boycott Best Buy!!! Those bastards never have enough people working in the right places like say for instance the checkout registers or return/exchange counter. The people they do hire, mostly, are wanna be gang bangers, lethargic, high school dropouts.

Don't shop at box stores. Simple. I would much rather pay more, and have service, than pay less and deal with some punk kid who couldn't tell his pimply face from his ass.

I really don't understand this crazy need for a 360.

If you just wait a few months you get
1) More games; some of which might actually be really good.
2) Hopefully Microsoft will fix the flaws.
3) More supply by far.

Unless there's a launch game you really want to play or someone wants it for xmas, I don't see why people are being so crazy about it.

apparently PGR3 is freaking intense. Im looking for one simply for this game.

It's pretty good, I play it and then have to remind myself to drive the speed limit after playing. It's very easy to get money, the down side of the game is you can't put better parts in the car. Unless there is an option I haven't seen.

It's funny that I like this one, because I despised PGR2.

try toys r us i picked up my 360 yesterday over there....they had 6 premium systems!!!
