I'm looking for someone in the Glendale, CA area that's willing to loan their RX-8 for a day to iForged. They'd use your car to test fitment (measuring offset, brake clearance, etc) to see what will fit on an RX-8. Then, if you do it and want a set of rims I can get you some for 5% below wholesale cost. That's a lot cheaper than what you'll pay anywhere else. And yes, your tire pressure monitors will still work just fine.

They're made to order, 2 piece or 3 piece forged rims. Absolutely gorgeous if you ask me. One nice thing is that they can do custom offsets in 1 mm increments. Fikse will only let you adjust offsets in 12.5 mm increments.

If interested, reply or PM me. After we do some fitment testing, I'm probably going to start a group buy.

I can find way more threads about happy customers of iForged than unhappy. Trust me, I looked. I heard of some worried customers before I decided to contact them, and did my research. You can find bad press about anybody on the internet. But after speaking with them, I feel confident.

Here's a pic that Vince from iForged photoshoped of an RX-8 with iForged rims.

I don't have any experience with iForged wheels, but just want to add that while the picture above of the black wheels shows what the wheel is going to look like.

1. at a 50mm offset, no aftermarket wheel is going to have the deep dish look like the wheel shown on the rear of the car.

2. I wish he didn't slam the car when creating the photoshop image. It would be much nicer to know what the wheels would look like at a more reasonable rid height.

my two cents.

Ok, it is entirely possible to have a fitment like that. Trust me ... lots of FD guys run +50 10" wide rims and have lips like that. It wouldn't be possible with stock width rims, but why would you keep the stock width? That's a waste ...

And I would think that most people who spend the cash for rims will also lower the car. One of the most goofy looking aspects of a stock 8 is that it just sits too high.

Why does everything have to happen in the west? I wish the companies on the eastern front would ask me to be a tester :). I need some new rims, but dont have the money to spend on volks :(

Well yeah, but with the 5% above wholesale cost it must be a bargain.
